CRETE GUN CLUB
The Crete Gun Club was formed under the leadership of the historic Crete F-Men. In the early 1800's, the Crete F-Men were deputized as a sheriff's posse to protect the citizens of eastern Will County against the lawlessness of the time. The Crete F-Men continued serving their community with the Will County Sheriff's Police Department under a police charter through the Illinois State Constitution until the early 2000's. Since then, The Crete F-Men have continued to serve their community through a variety of charities and community events. In 2015, members of the Crete F-Men decided to combine their shared interests of firearms and shooting sports to form a brand new organization - The Crete Gun Club.
The Crete Gun Club was formed in 2015 to promote safe and responsible gun ownership. We are an official NRA Affiliated Organization and work closely with NRA and law enforcement firearms instructors to provide the very best and latest firearms training for our members. Membership includes group shoots and regular range dates, members only classroom and range training with experienced NRA and law enforcement firearms instructors, concealed carry training and legal updates, and knowledge and experience from like-minded individuals. All firearm enthusiasts are welcome!
The Crete Gun Club meets on the first Monday of every month at 7PM at the Crete F-Men Hall - 1962 West Exchange St. Crete, IL. Meetings are open to the public and we're always looking to sponsor new members!
